Janitor Rescues Failing Business, Now Is Co- Owner
Saturday 10th March 2012 | Osh
Tony Lee worked as a janitor at a car parts company Ring Masters in Massillon, Ohio. He came up with a business plan to save the company, which is now profitable.
In 2002 the company were laying off workers left and right and Lee could have been next. However he had different ideas! He worked on a business plan to bring Ring Masters back into profit, dedicating his time with long nights at the library.
He then found a group of investors to buy the company and follow his plan.
He had to come up with $25,000 to invest himself.
It was a good investment because almost a decade later Ring Masters brings in $4 million dollars in annual revenue and has grown in employee numbers.
Lee is a co- owner and has recouped his initial investment many times over.
This is a truly inspiring story showing that with hard work and determination anything is possible!
