Blues Brothers Band Members Will Reunite

Several members of the original Blues Brothers Band will reunite on Monday night at the Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet, IL. The show is in honour of the 30th anniversary of John Belushi’s death.
Paul Shaffer, Tom “Bones” Malone, “Blue” Lou Marini and Matt “Guitar” Murphy are amongst them. It is also possible that Elwood Blues (aka Dan Aykroyd) will be in attendance, though this hasn’t been confirmed.
The show will be streamed on face book so that those not in the Chicago area will be able to participate. Aykroyd and the late-John Belushi's widow, Judith Belushi-Pisano are the producers of the show.
The Blues Brothers may have been considered a comedy act after starting out on Saturday Night Live, but both the producers had a deep love for the blues and R&B and this will be reflected.
