Since its inception in 2008, Ibiza International Music Summit has gathered a lot of interest and support from the electronic musical community worldwide making it a direct competitor to Miami’s Winter Music Conference. From 300 paying delegates in 2008 to over 500 in a period of three years the IMS has been heralded as “electronic’s equivalent to TED - a hub for the world’s leading professionals in dance music”.
IMS predominantly associates itself with the electronic music industry and, through the forum, discusses ways of progressing the music within the industry, innovating the way forward for artists, venues, record labels and fans alike whilst providing the perfect platform for networking within electronic music industry circles.
This year, apart from artists including the legendary Carl Craig, Seth Troxler, Paul Oakenfold, Diplo and Pete Tong attending the conference and performing in the numerous parties after it, the organisers are expecting IMS 2012 to be the best conference they’ve held to date. Delegates attending will be coming from all corners of the world to the White Island, Ibiza, for this spectacular way of commencing the summer season with substance and style.
