‘I don’t like his f***ng voice, I don’t like the s**t he talks about, I don’t like his face, I don’t like the way he walks. Nothing. I don’t like his haircut.’- DMX doesn’t hold back when talking to New York’s Power 105 on Thursday.
He did praise MGK though saying he was better than 80 per cent of rappers today. When asked about Rick Ross he said ‘I’m just not impressed.’
He also revealed that he turned down a deal with Ross’ Maybach music group. He received interest while he was in prison last year but whilst he appreciated the offer, didn’t think it was a good fit.
DMX is getting ready to release his next LP, Undisputed, sometime this year and said all he is looking for in his new record deal is the proper promotion and creative control.
He feels that he didn’t get this opportunity during his last few years on Def Jam when his former Murder Inc. Rhyming partner Jay Z was the company’s president.
According to DMX, his former collaborator felt threatened by the onetime rap superstar. He felt that the music mogul was trying to eliminate the competition.
Drake is eagerly preparing for his sell out tour to care about the comments, and Jay Z is far too busy being the mega star we all know and love to be too bothered either!
