The production has been in development since last year but one week after the death of Whitney Houston, it has finally been announced. The 1992 movie starred Whitney alongside Kevin Costner and of course featured the hit song I Will Always Love You, originally written by Dolly Parton.
Opening in November at London’s Adelphi Theatre, a new script written by Alex Dinelaris is expected to produce a different story to the film.
Heather Headley is set to play Rachel Marron.
