Police Officer Chases Himself

An undercover policeman ‘chased’ himself for over 20 minutes when CCTV mistook him for a suspect.
The rookie policeman was patrolling an area rife for burglary when the operator radioed to say that he had seen suspicious behaviour. He directed the pursuing officer, who works for Sussex police for almost half an hour, unaware that it was the same person. It wasn’t until a sergeant entered the CCTV room and realised the operator’s mistake that the ‘chase’ came to an end.
