Whitney Houston queen of pop, dies age 48

We were saddened to learn tonight that the superstar singed has passed away. Her publicist Kristen Foster conirmed the singer's death but said that the location and cause of death are unclear.
As one of the world's best selling artists she has won multiple grammy awards. Her career was at it's peak in the 80s and 90s, during this time she had hits including 'I Will Always Love You' and 'How Will I Know'.
Drug use had tarnished her reputation by the end of her career as record sales plummeted due to the damage to her voice and her turbulent marriage to singer Bobby Brown.
Her success carried from music in to film and she appeared in releases like 'The Bodygaurd'.
