Ten Ways To Boost Creativity

1. Listen to relaxing music.
Music affects the frequency of brain waves, brain amplitude and also your mood. As the body becomes more relaxed, the mind is able to concentrate more easily.
2. Brainstorm!
It is one of the best creativity techniques known and if properly carried out, it can help you generate lots of ideas. Trust me you will be surprised at what your mind comes up with. Brainstorming can be super fun, too.
3. Write down your ideas instantaneously.
Always carry a notebook and a pen around with you for whenever something inspires you write your ideas down. You may find out that 90 percent of them are draft but that will help you concentrate on the important ten percent that may turn out potentially genius.
4. Walk.
Have you heard of the book The spirited walker? Do you take walks when you can’t think? It leads to clarity and balance, and some gentle exercise will help you shake up your brain cells for sure.
5. Read as much as you can.
Books provide inspiration and boost your imagination like nothing else. The more you learn by reading, the easier it will be to make connections in your head.
6. Exercise your brain.
The brain, like the body, needs exercise to keep fit. Be curious about things, talk to clever people and disagree with people to make your brain move. Any time spent on self- improvement is precious.
7. Take risks.
You need to take risks in order to advance your skills and abilities. Don’t be scared of failure because failing can help you build skills useful for the future.
8. Create a mind map.
That could be so entertaining you can’t even imagine. Write down a central word that links to terms, topics and ideas related it to it. Draw your mind on paper.
9. Master it.
Consistent effort will make you an expert. By having understanding of the topic you are interested in, you will be more likely to think of innovative solutions and problems.
10. Dream.
Let your imagination lead you and don’t allow criticism to put you down.
