Legend! We Can’t Forget Aretha Franklin

Queen of soul, gospel diva and First lady of RnB. A hot voice, powerful and sensual, she truly represents North American music from the 50’s and 60’s. But in those years, it hadn’t been easy for a “young, talented black girl”. Like Nina Simone and Billie Holiday, she was carrying the misery and the suffering of the times… but they fought against the odds. Throughout it all, Aretha still stayed a symbol and her music is still famous and listened to everywhere in the whole world! Our favourite songs Think, RESPECT, Say A Little Prayer and many more are intemporal and because of this, Franklin went to perform at President Barack Obama's inauguration in 2009.
