Halimah Abubackar – the founder of Beauty school TIBA Training (The Institute of Beauty Artists) and professional bridal services Henna-h started her career working on theatre sets as a makeup artist, and has grown to become one of the country’s leading beauty specialists. Now she specialises in all aspects of the fashion world including bridal, runway and photographic make up. Taking pride in all her work, Halimah is a perfectionist, creating stunning and flawless looks on all her clients. Working in the fast pace environment of the industry, she has crossed paths and worked with many A list Bollywood celebrities on many channels such as Channel 4, Zee TV, B4U, BritAsia and a veriety of bridal publications.
Halimah was the leading makeup artist for Miss Arab UK 2011 and was also commissioned by Lloyds TSB Bank to provide hair, makeup and dressing services for VIP clients attending award ceremonies. She is enthusiastic about personally teaching her students how to become an artist and help embrace the uniqueness of their work. Halimah has selected a few of her previous students to create a small team to help run and represent TIBA Training at all major events.
