Most famous for her beautiful wedding favourite “At Last”, the singer had long been suffering from leukemia and passed away Friday with her husband and sons by her side. James first hit the charts as a teenager finding success on the R&B charts, she went on to win six Grammys and was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. “At Last” has been covered by many artists, perhaps most famously by Beyoncé at the inauguration of US President, Barack Obama in 2008. Beyoncé also played James in the film “Cadillac Records”.
