This month we dissect ‘The Mad Men’ style, so lets go back to the ‘50s and ‘60s and let you guys in on a few tips...
Inspired by the US hit series Mad Men, the silhouette of the late ‘50s and early ‘60s is now in the spotlight. This elegant style pays tribute to glamorous icons such as Marilyn Monroe, Rita Hayworth and Grace Kelly. To add retro glamour to your wardrobe, clean out vintage boutiques. To achieve this look, stock up on floral print and pastel dresses such as lavender, light-blue, pale pink and yellow chic. As an ultra feminine look, trousers are prohibited and pencil skirts are the new dictatorship! Give priority to delicate fabrics such as satin and chiffon. Pay huge attention to detail as well. Never go out without perfect red lips and a perfectly mastered hairstyle, during the daytime, wear ladies’ tailoring and a chignon.
