Caio Naples!

It might be known as the place were pizza originated from in Italy, but Naples has more to offer then a Margherita. In fact, this could be the perfect holiday spot for you!

If you’re the kind of person who can shop till they drop, then Naples will not fail to deliver the goods! Located in the centre of the city, Naples has shops amongst shops. You will find the likes of retailers such as Pull & Bear, Zara, and Carpisa on the main high street. In addition to this, if you are brave enough to venture down Naples’ quaint alleys, you will find the best traditional pizzerias and restaurants that will be cheaper and less commercial than those located on the high street.

After your adventure to the shops and local restaurants, a trip down to Naples pier might just round up the perfect evening for you. The pier extends along way down, allowing regular runners to jog up and the wooden boards. If you go at 5 or 6pm you will able to view Naples at sunset. The pier extends so far down towards the sea, that it allows you locate other coastal areas of the amazing city.

Although Naples is a port-based city, if you take a 40 minute train journey to Sorrento you will be able to lounge about on their sandy beaches and swim in their glistening turquoise water. You must also visit their local famous ice-cream bar! With a fantastic range of ice-cream that you thought was unthinkable, the bar has been recognised for its uniqueness and famous celebrities which have been associated with it.  Some of the bar’s flavours include: coconut, snickers, lemon, and many more! Find this bar in the middle of Sorrento.

To summarise Naples in a nutshell, if you enjoy good food mixed in with historic sculpture and amazing views, then this will be the perfect location for you to visit. As the Italians would say, ciao!
