To celebrate the birthday of everybody's favourite whiskey distiller, Jack Daniels have teamed up with the memory of Frank Sinatra, everybody's favourite whiskey drinker, to take us on a tipple-soaked tour of Ol' Blue Eyes' favourite london haunts.
Having created the limited edition 'Sinatra Select', a whiskey aged in specially crafted charred oak barrels and exclusively distilled in the company's original 1866 distillery, Jack Daniels have done all they possibly can to create a rich, lasting taste that's as smooth as Sinatra's voice. Paying tribute to their everlasting partnership with their most famous fan, the Sinatra Select whiskey will be available for free at a number of locations throughout London, giving us the chance to follow in the footsteps of the old crooner and get a little bit of a wobble on along the way.
As well as being able to buy the limited edition Sinatra Select whiskey for £150 from specialist stockists Selfridges and The Whiskey Shop, if you soberly stroll to these locations, you'll be falling out the front doors in a drunken stupor, obviously having a whiskey induced good time:
Santini - Being Sinatra's favourite Italian restaurant, Santini is offering a free 'Sinatra on the Rocks' to any person old enough who orders a Lemon Posset desert because nothing compliments a lemony kick like a high proof spirit.
The Savoy - If you can afford a night at The Savoy Hotel, you'll receive a free Sinatra on the Rocks just before bed, giving you the chance to sleep well... really well if you have a few.
The Punch Room - Order yourself a limited edition Sinatra Punch at the nostalgia driven Punch Room and you'll get a free Sinatra on the Rocks to compliment all that alcohol you've already consumed, making it doubtful you'll be sober by the time you leave - a good time.
These are limited time only offers for the remainder of September and give us a good chance to sample some of the finer points of the whiskey life, so get yourself out and about and merrily enjoy all that free alcohol responsibly, if that's possible.
