VP Records, biggest reggae label?

Founded by Chinese Jamaicans who owned a record store in Kingston and Studio 17 recording studios, VP Records has been a player for over 30 years. The prominent label has been working with reggae legends.
From roots legends’ Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown, Barrington Levy to today’s big shots: Alborosie, Sean Paul, Gyptian, Morgan Heritage and many many more, VP Records seems to have grasped the essence of the music and its evolution overtime.
Not only did they buy the emblematic ‘Greensleeves’ label in 2008 but they were awarded ‘Best Reggae Imprint Label’ for three consecutive years. Bottom line, VP Records’ slogan: ‘Miles Ahead in Reggae Music’ seems to fit the reality of their success.
