Top Five Trends for Autumn & Winter 2013

From punk to a more tender look, this season is full of contrasts and interesting pieces.
1) Punk
Taking its roots from the Met Gala, punk inspired pieces soon became a popular trend.
Chains, spikes, fishnets and tartan would help you embrace your rebellious side. Leather ankle boots with chunky soles would also be great to wear this season.
2) Winter Pastels
Pastel and candy-sweet shades have come back this season. The styles include knee-length hemlines, lace and, naturally, pointy stilettos. You might think that this trend might not be suitable for unpleasant autumn weather; however, looking truly sweet is always in-season. And if you still decide to dress more "to the weather", you can just go with some creamy coloured knitwear.
3) Opulent
Yet again, a comeback trend is gaining popularity this season: rich brocade, golds and jewelled embroidery creates a statement. Whether you have to for to a night out in that velvet-gilded dress, or if it's just tp complete your everyday look with a necklace, this trend would help to create a bold statement.
4) Baggy Coats
One of the top items on the list of must-haves - a chunky, oversized coat is the perfect choice throughout the cold days.
5) Paper Tone
Milky-white colours and ecru shade fabrics have started being used to create a certain "look" for the winter. While the summer is over, it is still suggested to sometimes wear something purely white and simple, without any additional accessories, for a more minimalistic look.
