Tramlines add even more acts to the bill

Indie | Thursday 19th May 2016 | Christina

Tramlines adds over 60 new acts to its 2016 bill.

The latest genre-spanning additions range from American alt-rock outfit The Dandy Warhols to Public Service Broadcasting, and from former Long Blondes frontwoman Kate Jackson to Big Narstie, Ragga Twins, Dub Phizix, and DRS, with a bonus DJ set from snooker legend Steve Davis. Some of the UKs most exciting new talent will also be heading to Sheffield, including Kiko Bun, Marika Hackman, Inheaven, Nordic Giants, and Eliza and the Bear.

New DJ talent will also have a chance to shine, with Global Roots Soundsystem, a collaboration between Boiler Room founder Thris Tian and Cervo of local promoters Banana Hill, Jack Dat and Belfast rising star LOR all hitting the decks across the festival.

With an ecletic programme of internationally-acclaimed artists alongside up-and-coming talent, and weekend passes starting from just £42 plus booking fee, Tramlines is one of the most affordable and exciting festivals the UK has to offer.
