This month, Eastern Electrics is once again breaking the barriers of electronic music with its cutting edge display of virtuosic talent
You may have felt it before; three times a year London trembles, and from under the ground rise talented new stars of the electronic music scene to take part in Eastern Electrics’ massive musical showcase. The next takeover of Great Suffolk Street Warehouse is this August bank holiday Sunday, and promises a suitably formidable line-up selected by three of the finest House labels: Mulletover, Made to Play and Reprise.
Simon Baker is to feature in the Mulletover room alongside the rich, hypnotic House of Robert Dietz. The Mulletover mischief-makers have also added front-runner of the nu-school, Richy Ahmed, along with a very special guest…
Made To Play label founder and DJ, Jesse Rose, is himself featuring in the Made To Play room; you have been warned to ‘expect the unexpected’ as his insightful selections give an undefinable overall vibe. Reprise, meanwhile, have chosen to saturate the warehouse air with the fresh Dubstep and Drum and Bass sounds of Icicle, along with Rinse FM favourite Monki.
DJs will be running from 10pm to 6am, and there are to be four ticket release dates in total, rising in increments from £10 up to £18.
