Why Berlin is one of the best party cities in Europe
Saturated in history and culture as well as having one of the best night scenes in the whole of Europe, Berlin is the city to visit this summer!
There is something for everyone in the German capital. From seeing where the Hoff became a national hero at the Berlin wall to delving even further back in time and exploring ancient history at the Pergamon Museum, visitors will not be let down by the amount of interesting shit they will be educated on.
However, the real fun begins when the sun sets, the cheap German beer flows and the lederhosen* comes out. Then and only then, it is time to party and these are some of the best places to visit in this great city!
A real trend in Berlin right now is making all things vintage, and this doesn’t stop at alcohol. Since they have been around since 1995, it feels the original trendsetter for this fashion is Green Door which offers classic cocktails galore and has the perfect relaxed vibe to start or end a memorable night.
Converted buildings are mega-fashionable in Berlin's nightlife right now such as the Golden Gate, a former bike shop. But to get a true taste of traditional German techno, Berghain screams techno through & through, and the fact that it is a converted power station makes it even more hardcore.
For a more unusual night club, check out Club der Visionäre, a dance boat on the Spree River, and the Salon Zur Wilden Renate which is along the actual riverside and boasts of a real-life paddling pool within the club. White Trash and Watergate are also non-missable clubs with their wide ranges of music (from rock to house) that reflect on the more exciting side of Berlin's nightlife.
