University of Hertfordshire Freshers!

It’s that time of year where the summer has come to an end and everyone is getting back into their everyday routines, but that doesn’t mean that the partying has to stop right?! The University of Hertfordshire has a freshers week to be proud of with many big names for a week of madness.
It begins next week from Monday 23rd – Saturday 28th September and all the crazy events will be held at the club on campus ‘The Forum’. It holds a total capacity of 2,000!
Monday 23rd: Hertfordshire will be hosting Milkshake which is one of the biggest urban nights originating from the Ministry of Sound.
Tuesday 24th: Every Tuesday The Forum hosts a night called Distort which plays the best in dub step and drum and bass and on the 24th they will be joined by a number of artists. These include DJ Fresh, Futurebound and Matrix, Majestic and MC Messy.
Wednesday 25th: Bonk Wednesday’s is another urban night and Naughty Boy will be down there playing a DJ set for the freshers. I am sure his hit single ‘La La La’ ft Sam Smith will get the crowd going.
Thursday 26th: The band The Blackout will be rocking out at The Forum for Break out night which features rock, punk, ska and grunge music.
Friday 27th: The Flirt! Freshers Ball will return on Friday which has sold out EVERY year for 15 years straight! Get ready for a night full of the hottest commercial tunes and a performance from Katy B.
Saturday 28th: Wheatus will be at Smirnoff Saturdays which is known for its chart, house and cheesy music and who better fulfills that cheesy description than Wheatus?! We all love a bit of his famous song ‘teenage dirt bag’ from the film American Pie once in a while don’t we?
