NIKEiD Customize, Personalize, Stylize. It's Da Bomb!!

If you wana be the freshest looking G on the block then you gotta check out NikeiD over at nike.com. It's the bomb when it comes to creating your very own pair of custom made nike shoes.
There are a ton of Nike models and designs available for you to customise and personalise with your own choice of fabric, colour and design. You can even add your own logo or name/team name.
You can choose from a variety of running shoes, basketball, football boots and sports shoes as well as training and skateboarding shoes to the classic Nike Air Jordans. The choice is varied and the first big decision is which shoe to start with. The Air Jordan Alpha or the Mogan Mid 2? No, make it the Lebron XPS or just start simple with the Air Pegasus. Ok, don't worry about it because you can choose and design as many as you like, then save them to MyLocker for later or show them off in the Nike Gallery.
Once you get past the first big decision, you can get started with customising your chosen shoes and adding some personality and customising them to your taste. If you hit a creative block, there are plenty of custom designs for you to view in the gallery which will give you some ideas and inspiration for where to start.
Almost everything about the shoes are up to you. Do you want real grain leather or suede? Solid or transparent sole? Plain block colour or a wild animal print design? Ok, not every option and every colour is going to be available for every shoe but there are more than enough choices to make your creation unique to you. Plus you can choose how you want the logo to look. It doesn't get better than that if you really want to get your message across.
It's fun and totally free to start designing as many looks as you want. Save and share the designs on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or email them to friends and family. You could even tag a note onto your favourite creations suggesting them as ideal birthday gifts for you!
Nike say that once you put an order in for your chosen design, they will custom make the shoes for you according to your exact specifications, (woohoo!) and have them out to you in 4 weeks or less. In ya face! I will be waiting for the postman to bring me my pair so I can put them straight on and stride round my neighbourhood with my fly new one-off custom made Nike shoes, a new concept in wearable street art.
