Unsigned London Rapper Raising The Bar: This is Dips

It’s only matter of time before this 20 year old, south east London rapper blows the scene, simply because he is too talented to stay in the underground kingdom. While studying at Kent University, his love for music allowed him to create a remarkably well produced mixtape, This Is Dips, which was released eight months ago.
If you’re looking for anyone to bring old school RnB enthused rap back, Dips is the guy. He makes head bobbing beats and feel-good, mellow vibes perfect for any mood, but especially uplifting. It is clear that he has been working hard at his art. Despite being at relatively early stages of his musical journey, the tracks are well crafted, showing his natural music ability. He, as well as his featuring artists, including Alexander Petrelli, illustrate the fine line between rap and spoken word poetry, forming lyrics that are both engaging and complex, with a similarity to Nas.
