The Moon - The Ultimate Party Destination
Last night's media shower had many of us staring up at the stars, perhaps wondering what it would be like to visit them. Well, at the minute, your options are pretty limited if you want to get into space; become a world class astronaut or pay over $250,000 to join Richard Branson and his fellow millionaires on a Virgin Galactic flight.
But why should space travel be limited to the rich and scientifically gifted? I vote that Branson broadens his horizons and turns the moon into the next big party destination.
Once a year, thousands of hedonists will literally take to the skies and head to the new lunar venue.
Forget Ibiza or Thailand, we have a new destination for the legendary Full Moon parties.
Of course the dress code will be space age. Expect metallic colours and Lycra to be partygoers most popular choice. Neon fairy lights will be attached to most outfits and make-up artists will be on hand to add a touch of sparkle with glitter paints and silver hair spray.
Room Zero is set to be rammed as you're promised a party experience like never before. Zero gravity will make it difficult to throw shapes but will make for an unforgettable experience.
In Coachella style, legends past and present will take to the stage in hologram form. Michael Jackson will of course take to the stage and perform his most iconic dance move, you guessed it, the moon walk.
If the party gets a little too much, partygoers can head to the ultimate chill out room. Visitors and their friends will be able to sit in pods which will allow them to pick their own tracks and listen to music from a selection of ultimate chill out songs. Space cake will of course be on the menu to take you even higher than your current destination.
I think I'll have to work on costs though, at the minute the price of tickets is looking astronomical.
