Dax J battered Village Underground
Ahead of his second album, Dax J teared apart the arches of East London.
He’s one of the hottest names in techno right now. British born, Berlin based Dax J has been causing chaos the world over with his straight forward no-bullshit sound. His no nonsense approach to the music has shattered venues everywhere, gaining him fans in top tier DJs including Ben Klock, Dave Clarke and tINI. He's a busy man right now, it was only earlier this month he handed over his debut Essential Mix for Radio 1 and his second album, Offending Public Morality is due out on April 6th.
Despite everything that he's got going on last Saturday Dax J landed back in his hometown for a mammoth all-night set for Superstition. He's no stranger to performing extended sets - frequenting the mighty Berghain in Berlin, though this time London got a proper taste of the magic in Dax's crates in the brick arches of Village Underground.
He kept the venue packed right till close rinsing out his trademark brutalistic sound, even when the main lights came up it couldn’t stop the ravers. As the last tune faded out cheers erupted as London thanked Dax J for a stellar set summing up exactly why he’s one of the world’s most in demand techno acts right now.
