Nico Lindsay strikes out alone on new EP

Grime | Wednesday 28th March 2018 | Alex

North London musician Nico Lindsay is known for his wide-ranging collaborations, having worked with producers in the rap, grime and funky house scenes in recent years.

His latest EP, titled Codename Lin, sees him jump on four of his own beats, opening with a classic grime sound on 'Black Magician', then switching to a more trap-influenced style on 'False Representation'.

The stand-out track, though, is 'Gee Owe Dee' - where his introspective lyrics and wonky flow marry perfectly with a jazz-laced, bass-leaning instro. Check the video for that below.

'Codename Lin' is out on all digital platforms now: iTunes | Spotify | Tidal | Bandcamp
