Following his explosive BET freestyle, in which he attacks Trump repeatedly, Eminem has returned to politics, this time taking aim at the National Rifle Association (NRA), telling the audience at the iHeartRadio Music Awards that “they love their guns more than our children.”
The NRA have been bashed in the news following the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, that saw 17 people, including students and teachers, shot dead.
Keen for the gun lobbyists to remain in the spotlight, Eminem waded in with a freestyle attached to the song 'Nowhere Fast'. He raps that “They (the NRA) hold the strings, they control the puppet.” Insinuating that Donald Trump bases a number of his policies, specifically those related to guns, on what the NRA tells him.
In another not-so-subtle reproach to the NRA, Eminem was introduced by Parkland survivor Alex Moscou, who rebuked politicians for their inaction to push for gun control in a speech preceding Eminem’s performance.
The full Eminem freestyle can be seen below:
As with the ferocious BET freestyle, Trump is yet to respond.
