Sleep out and help raise awareness for homeless youth

Other | Thursday 16th November 2017 | Geri

Swap the warmth and comfort of your bed for the streets of Greenwich in support of homeless youth today.

Youth homelessness is a huge issue within the UK and London itself has about 150,000 young people going to the council for help every year- all for different reasons. You can read about their stories and circumstances here.

Centrepoint have organised a Sleep Out event not to "replicate what it's like to be homeless" but to give you an insight into the challenges faced by young homeless people. You can show your support today by registering for the Sleep Out.

If you would like to take it a step further you can also raise money for the project and spread awareness on youth homelessness in London, we can all do our part.
