The Nike Free Runs have Taken Over

Wednesday 10th July 2013 | Marianna

Walking out of my house this morning, I came to realise that many teenagers/young adults are wearing the new Nike Free Runs. It feels like it was just yesterday that the Nike Air Force 1 was taking over the streets of London, but now it’s time for the Free Runs to shine. They haven’t really taken the stage ever since their introduction in 2004, but ever since the UK has placed their eyes on the Nike Free 5.0 V5 and the Nike Free 3.0 V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, they have soared into the fashion industry with bright colours.

Extremely comfortable, light as a reed, and available in a variety of colours, they attract a wide audience. Even though their original purpose was to allow easy and flexible running, what they are now known for is the casual element they hold. Pair it with jeans, tracksuits, shorts, whatever you please really.

I can’t say they’re extremely cheap, usually around £80 for a pair, but believe me, once you put these babies on your feet, you won’t be able to say no. Plus, if you happen to have extra money hiding in your pockets, Nike iD is offering exclusive limited editions, ranging from £100 to £140. They even allow you to customise the shoes in any way you please.

So, if you need new comfortable shoes, with a fashionable edge to them, then Nike Free Runs are what you want, and you won’t be disappointed.
