Dana Elle talks new music & her upcoming performance at JuJu's this Wednesday

After performing over 200 shows with her original project, including big band concerts, festivals, trio's, solo sets, TV appearance on The Voice, and achieving titles such as 'Discovery of the year' by 88FM radio. Dana Elle has managed to build a crowd of fans and followers all over the world.

The songstress premieres her new album Wake Up, a soulful R&B project with a middle eastern twist produced by Femi Temowo who was the M.D for Amy Winehouse.  

After touring all over Israel, the US in SIR Studios, Los Angeles and The Crescent Hotel in Beverly Hills, with more than 50 live shows in 2016; Dana Elle is now touring Paris, Berlin, Bus Palladium Paris Cannes Midem Festival and London at Ronnie Scott's one of the famous jazz clubs in the city. 

As Dana gears up for her performance at JuJu this Wednesday, she lets us know what fans can expect and what else she has in store for 2017. 

What have you been up to lately? 

I'm living in London and working on my third album. It's an amazing collaboration with a unique and talented artist, and producer called Aleph Aguiar. 

When did you know you wanted to be a musician?

I knew it the moment I stepped on stage for the first time!

Who are your biggest musical influences?

Janis Joplin, Aretha Frankly, Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse, Etta James, James Blake, J.Viewz, Jimi Hendrix & Pink Floyd. 

How would you describe your music?

Upbeat, soul, & pop!

What have you got in store for your fans coming to JuJu, this Wednesday?

It's a new project including a lot of electronics and new songs that haven't been released yet. 

Name 3 famous people that are dead or alive that you would love to perform with?

Joe Cocker, James Brown, & Jeff Buckley.

What else have you got in store for 2017?

We have a new E.P coming out by the end of the year it's super exciting and we can't wait to share it with you guys! Also, we have a festival coming up in the summer in England it's called Soul Circus Festival at Elmore Woods.I'll be playing the main stage on the 19th of August. Hope to see you there and at our show at Juju London.
