Take things deeper with Cid Poitier with this dark playlist.
London based producer has churned out two murky releases recently. He shakes the Translation crew with a murderous half time, dub fuelled EP and follows it up with a bold dubstep double tracker for Sub:Clef.
The beats are raw and the sounds dirty, Cid Poitier takes his tracks down the experimental route with impressive results. The producer grew up on early 90s Jamaican dancehall and subsequently boarded the jungle train. He's been DJing since 1997 but has only recently turned to production. He's style is stripped back and bare, adsorbing the rich musical heritage and culture from his homelands in South London.
His last two releases have been strong, and seriously deep - but we wanted more! So Cid Poitier has compiled us a few of his favourite tracks from the deep.
