The Wackiest Indie Event of the Year- Irregular Festival
If you’re a lover of the quirky, the odd and the irregular, you’re going to be a lover of the Irregular Folks Summer Session.
This is a 1 day festival for those doing something different and thinking independently, whether that is art, music, poetry, comedy and film, they are all willing to mesmerise the eyes and ears of Irregular visitors.
This summer's Irregular Folks’ Session takes over the stunning riverside grounds of The Victoria Arms, Old Marston & Oxfordshire. Most importantly there will be the Music Tent, hosted by Paul Foot and boasting the best line-up yet; with performances from the likes of Yorkston Thorne & Khan, GO DARK, Rozi Plain, Laura J Martin, Oly Ralfe, Dead Rat Orchestra, Jack Cheshire and Hannah Bruce. Irregular doesn’t even do headliners, giving each artist a fair wack at playing the same bill.

The event will also host a range of non-musical tents, from a short film cinema tent, Mini Movie Island, the Odditorium tent, a Victorian parlour style tent, delivering talks by enthusiasts, polymaths and eccentrics, and finally Drunken Drawing (the name says it all).
The festival thanks ‘Grants For The Arts’ for its construction, stating that without this kind of funding, these kind of amazing weekends wouldn’t be standing. These are the kind of venues/events that bring music to the people and give smaller bands a voice and a stage!
