Seth Rogen And Billy Eichner Voicing Timon and Pumbaa In Lion King Remake

With The Jungle Book earning a gigantic $966,550,600 and Beauty and the Beast's current gross at an even higher $1,101,396,411, Disney are probably going to go ahead and remake their entire animated library.

Their next animated film to get the live-action treatment will be their 1994 classic The Lion King, with Iron Man and Jungle Book Helmer Jon Favreau directing.

We can expect the film to pile on the laughs, as comedy actors Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner have been cast as the warthog/meerkat duo, Timon and Pumbaa, as reported by Variety. Sounds like a perfect casting if we ever saw one.

The live-action/motion capture film will also star Donald Glover as Simba and James Earl Jones as his father Mufasa, and will hit theatres on July 19, 2019.
