With 2 hours of comedy, thrills and amazing cinematography. Sticking to its seedy roots, the T2 sequel is set 21 years after the original and tells the story of the old gang getting back together, despite the tensions that lie between them, to make money in Edinburgh’s dark underbelly.
The film is a flawless mix between the reality of getting older (Sick Boy now goes by the name Simon and even has a grown-up child) but still finding excitement in life through all the things we are told we shouldn’t do. The juxtaposition of nostalgic clips of the old film with an upbeat and modern sound track throughout makes the film perfect for both original and new fans alike.
