Marking its 10-year anniversary in 2017, Mexico’s coveted BPM festival is making its monumental return to Playa Del Carmen next month. Exhibiting a whole collective of already-announced prominent electronic talent, it’s apparent the line-up is showing no signs of slowing down.
Following both his appearances at BPM, and an unforgettable set for Boiler Room in Tulum last year, Solomun is returning to Mexico to kick off the festival’s closing weekend. Listed as Solomun +1, excitement is rife as his residency in Pacha last summer saw his ‘plus ones’ feature headliners in their own right such as DJ Tennis, Dixon and Joseph Capriati.
Established industry names including Pete Tong, Carl Cox and Jamie Jones will also be featuring alongside creative immersive experiences such as Wolf + Lamb and Soul Clap’s Crew Love, and widely acclaimed party heavy-hitter Elrow who are set to close the festival with an explosion of colour.
Ticket holders are not only granted access to all listed events during their wristband’s validity, but also provided discounts at more than 125 local businesses; and the ability to chop and change between venues provides an element of freedom and fluidity that other festivals just don’t give.
BPM festival runs between the 6th and the 15th January. For all tickets and info head over to the official BPM Festival website
