Afeni Shakur Dies Aged 69

Tupac’s mother Afeni Shakur has passed at 69 years of age.
It is thought that she suffered a cardiac arrest before her passing at home in California, May 2nd. Afeni Shakur’s fame was elevated due to her son Tupac’s 1995 tribute ‘Dear Mama’.
Following the death of her son Afeni opened the ‘Tupac Amaru Shakur Centre for the Arts’ in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
