One to Watch: DJ Limited

After a few years rumbling on the underground this Norwich based producer is now taking the steps up to drum & bass superstar.
In the tranquil Norfolk countryside there is a genius at work who's making a lot of noise. A master mind in grimy beats and punchy jump up drum & bass beats. Going by the name DJ Limited, this producer has been shaking up the jump up scene with his fast, jabby tracks reminding us that jump up drum & bass isn't all about our friends in Europe.
His reputation has been built with a string of heavy releases on Biological Beats and special appearances on Shiftin Beatz and Hype's Playaz. He captures the raw, dirty style from the scene and injects that with bruising basslines and short samples. This style has captured the attention from many of the scenes leading figures and has carried him through up the ranks.
With his foundations now firmly laid, the direction now can only be up and with a debut 2016 release on Sigma's Life Recordings is a sure sign that he's going the right way. The two tracks snapped up by Life see the Norwich based producer flex his production skills in new directions.
Your Love and Everyday are two different styles taking fresh approaches from his usual jump up sounds. Your Love is a driving drum & bass record that screams for radio play with it's supersized synths, bleepy hook and gorgeous vocal sample. It's in a completely different league to DJ LImited's previous work, marching directly towards drum & bass mega stardom. On the flip side, Everyday keeps things underground. Featuring another upcoming producer, Dominator, they together create a driving jungle roller with a classic groaning bassline.
With a fresh sound, big label signing while keeping his high quality production value, DJ Limited has proved he's versatile and is ready to make 2016 his year!
