Big new tunes from June Miller & Teddy Killerz, T>I and spYke

Drum and Bass | Sunday 24th January 2016 | Arren

June Miller & Teddy Killerz – Wildlife [Ram Records]

An authentic jungle, complete with the animals, is what kicks off this record before a Spartan drop and aggressive drums. To be honest what did we expect from this collaboration?

Aaronic – Stomp [Mainframe]

Aaronic has stepped up with a massive EP for Austria’s finest drum & bass outlet Mainframe.

T>I – The Gogon [Murky Digital]

Portsmouth’s Murky Digital have got a proper wobbler here from T>I, complete with a bold bassline and clear cut beat.

Larigold – World In Fear [Radar]

A mellow record that nods towards the soulful, jazzy side of music. A great track from this upcoming producer from Belgium.

spYke – Bubble Man [Noz]

Sounds much like some early jump up – its cheeky, bouncy and just pretty fun, something that I thinks a little lost nowadays.

Lack Sound – Campers Killer [Got It]

A blend of twisted industrial sounds and a gritty jump up clapper beat. Big noise from Lack Sound.

Soul Intent & DJ Tango – 1, 2, 3, 4 [Lossless]

This track has got the groove, the funk, man it’s wrapped up everything from a cheeky jazz number and turned it into a smooth drum & bass roller.

Blueprint & Cosmology – After the Clouds [Deconstructed Recordings]

The first release from Blueprints new drum & bass focussed label. All the right elements for a liquid track, complete with an amen break. More please.

Makoto & Danny Wheeler – Midnight Hour [Liquid V]

If you’re looking for something with a little more soul then search no further! Strings carry this one through with a silky smooth amen beat, boasts the vibes from the early noughties liquid sound.

Sublimit – Two Souls [Citate Forms]

For their third release, Citate Forms called upon Sublimit to provide the goods. Two Souls is an atmospheric track with a very nice, crisp bassline.
