High Definition Festival, UNDER 2 WEEKS TO GO

High Definition is a one-day event held in Forest Farm, Essex. The festival is often overlooked but we think it definietly deserves more recognition! This is the third event after two very successful years for the electronic-orientated festival. Ticket prices are a lot kinder than most, with the first release being under £20. Despite prices gradually creeping up, the good news is that you can still buy a ticket for less than the price of Field Day!
High Definition have got the perfect mix of artists performing to satisfy all types of electronic fans – from headliners Labrinth and Katy B for the more casual listeners, Friction and Shy FX for the drum and bass heads. The event also has UK house producers of the moment Hot Since 82, Maya Jane Coles and Bicep for those who like things a bit deeper and darker – all the big names are there. Another nice touch is High Definition’s commitment to bringing the best of new, local talent from the South East. It’s going to be one of those festivals where you run around all day because you want to see everybody!
All of the stages will be in tents, which means that no matter what the weather brings festival goers can be warm and dry. The tents will also provide a more club-like atmosphere for this kind of music and will be better suited to showcasing High Definition’s famous cutting edge production across all stages and arenas. High-end sound systems by Audio Energy Ltd., hundreds of meters of LED screen panels, full-colour laser systems, pyrotechnics, Co2 cannons, stadium glitter launchers and hundreds of moving lights, LEDs and generic fixtures all supplied by in-house production team Light Design Ltd, will be illuminating up this Essex skyline this summer.
Helpfully, the festival is easily accessible by tube on the Central Line at Fairlop, meaning no overpriced coach or train fares to worry about. We can’t wait!
