Trains and Characters: Rare Photos from the London Underground
Other | Tuesday 10th November 2015 | Tom
Photographer Bob Mazzer has been capturing the unique people and situations that only the London Underground can produce, through film, over the last 40 years.
In a series of striking shots, Mazzer, who was born in Whitechapel, captures both the style and behaviour of the individuals that used London’s tube network before us today.
Mazzer took many of his photos late at night, travelling on his way home from work as a film projectionist in King's Cross.
Although he now lives in Hastings, Mazzer still travels by tube when he goes to London.
All photos were taken with a Leica M4 with 35mm camera.
