Optimus Alive 2013

Portugal’s capital city Lisbon is once again holding the famous Optimus Alive festival this July - 12, 13th and 14th. The three day festival has the best line up the festival has seen yet and attracts festival go-ers from all over the world. Situated right by the beach and along the Tagus River, you are guaranteed sun, fun and good music. The likes of Green Day, Vampire Weekend, Kings of Leon, Crystal Castles and Two Door Cinema Club will be taking to the stage this year. Last year NME readers rated the festival 10 out of 10, and this year is looking even better.
2012's weekend was huge, with performances from Radiohead, Florence & The Machine, The Cure, Katy B and The Maccabees.

Newcomers Alt J are popular favourites for the Sunday and singles such as Matilda and Breezeblocks, the most commonly known, will definitely be a crowd pleaser.
