Who is going to #BlackOutLDN Tomorrow?

Other | Friday 14th August 2015 | Federica

Young Londoners like Denise and Kayza are sick of racism.

They're fed up with black people being killed for silly reasons by the police in the US and in the UK. Which is why they have organised a peaceful protest march for tomorrow, taking place at the U.S. Ambassy in London. The march comes with the hashtag #BlackOutLDN.

Everyone is welcome, signs and banners which will help to spread the message greatly appreciated.

With the recent deaths of Sandra Bland and Sam Dubose, people are feeling they must do something active and tangible to show that this racial violence is not ok.

'The media is more keen painting the victims a bad light'
Denise and Kayza and #BlackOutLDN want to change things: it is important than anyone black, or white, or yellow understands we're all humans, and we all deserve to be treated like human beings. These protests are to raise social awareness.

Check the #BlackOutLDN Facebook, Facebook eventTwitter, Instagram and website..and be the change you wish to see in the world, as Mahatma Gandhi used to say.
