Bestival 2013

For the perfect way to spend the last lingering days of summer get yourself to Bestival! From the 5th – 8th September 2013 Robin Hill Park on the Isle of Wight will be home to incredible live music, DJs and all sorts of weird and wonderful events.
Fatboy Slim, Snoop Dogg and Elton John are both headlining the festival this year, as well as these guys there are some amazing acts like M.I.A, The Flaming Lips, Wu-Tang Clan and Rudimental, amongst many many more. Whether you’re into dance music, cabaret, pop or drum ‘n’ bass Bestival will have you spoilt for choice. As well as music Bestival has loads of other attractions, there’s the Ambient Forest, for spoken word performances and ambient DJs. If you feel like exploring a surreal and absurdist world then just head over to Club DADA for a line-up of ‘pranksters, champs DJs, live acts, dance troupes, vintage beauties and swingsters’, all this as well as other alternative entertainment, dance lessons and lots and lots of drag.
The festival is celebrating its tenth birthday this year, and the weekend kicks off with Fatboy Slim, who headlined at the first ever Bestival in 2004, returning to celebrate, calling his act ‘Fatboy Slim’s Bestival Birthday Bash’. Bestival won the Best Major Festival award last year, and you can bet that Rob and Josie Da Bank are only going to top that achievement. So for a festival that just keeps getting better and better look no further than Bestival 2013.
