New MIA single first play tonight on Radio One

RnB/Hip Hop | Monday 17th June 2013 | jim

At 7pm tonight the highly anticipated new single from MIA, Bring the Noise, recieves its first play. Bring the Noise follows up last years very good, Bad Girls, which featured a video by Romain Gavras, and got everyone licking their lips in anticipation of the forthcoming album Mantangi, which is expected to be released later this year. Tonight sees the second installment sometime between 7pm and 9pm on Zane Lowe's show.

If the track is anything like any of her old material then it should be a massive success. Her catchy lyrical rhymes work effortlessly well over the more unusual production underneath. A teaser of her track can be found on her website, although the artwork is slighlty uneasy on the eyes, so probably dont look to hard at it if your recovering from a hangover...

Alongwith a teaser for the track can be found two VINE uploads posted by the rapper that feature what looks like a muisc video with MIA made out of gold dancing around on stage. Looks pretty interesting...

Anyway if your interested in what MIA has to offer up to the world then listen in to catch a first hear of a track that could be a massive track at festivals this summer. If you really cant wait that long then here is a mix that she did for KENZO fashion house a little earlier this year.
