Get ready for the latest release of the Fabric Series which will be released on 17th June.
The notorious Fabric nightclub in Smithfield, London, continues to generate its uniquely amazing Fabric music series. Fabric Records is the independent music record company that is solely operated by Fabric Nightclub, which appeals to established and emerging DJs to generate and compile a mixture of tracks from popular DJs into their monthly CD series, known as Fabric. This project has been fully operational since November 2001 and they have successfully produced a CD each month.
On Monday 17th June, expect to be impressed, because DJ trio, Apollonia, has compiled one of the hottest and most exhilarating Fabric albums, Apollonia: Fabric 70. Apollonia is the French trio of DJs who formed last year but, having been friends for over a decade, and sharing the same musical roots, tastes, and creative apparitions, these three boys have a natural connection which is evident through their wicked music creations. On Apollonia: Fabric 70, there features many great DJs, however, what makes this anthology so amazing is the fact that the boys from Apollonia (Shonky, Dan Ghenacia, and Dyed Soundorom) have chosen tracks which beautifully follow in theme and beats. Apollonia noted that: “The mix is a reflection about of our culture and how we play, and it's a really good mirror of who we are and what we do, mixing the old school stuff that fits in really well at the moment, with some brand new music.” Not only is it an amazing album collection, but it also has meaning behind it.
If you end up loving Apollonia: Fabric 70 then you can live up these and similar beats all night long at Fabric on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Fabric has three separate rooms, each have their own independent sound systems, two which have their own stages fit to accommodate for live acts. One of the most interesting and exciting features of the entire club is the ‘bodysonic’ dancefloor – quite literally a vibrating dance floor. Music genres are not strictly limited to house and dubstep either, as FabricLive, Friday nights, include tempos from all dance kinds: hip-hop, breakbeat, dubstep, drum and bass, and electro. Saturday nights are house and techno, which is given a different and unique line-up each week. If you want to party on a Sunday night, well, you can end the week, or start it (whichever you chose) with underground house and techno.
