Ecstasy is legal in Ireland until midnight tonight

And it’s not just E, shrooms, ket and other controlled substances are not illegal for the time being either! Irish lawmakers have made a big boo-boo – the Misuse of Drugs Act 1977 was being added to without the consultation of both houses of the Irish parliament, and this has been deemed unconstitutional by a court of appeal.
In response, the Irish government have had to rush through new legislation but it won’t come into effect until midnight tonight. Therefore, controlled substances are technically legal. You’ve got six hours to party.
