StreetFest 2013 - May 5th

The Uk's no.1 urban culture festival is back, with an explosive line up of live & digital art, music, spoken word, dance, fashion and sport. Spilling across 3 unique warehouse spaces and onto the streets of East London!
American rapper and producer, Oddisee will headline the Adidas Stage with support from the likes of Dot Rotten, DJ Vadim, DJ Nikki Beatnik, Livin' Proof and Supa Dupa Fly, plus many more.
New to this year's music offering is the 'StreetFest Unsigned' stage, hosted by Remedy and showcasing some of the most respected underground hip-hop, soul and spoken word artists out there, with a headline slot from South London's finest Tawiah. Expect to hear some amazing new talent.
Watch 40 local & globally renowned street artists spray, paint and create live artwork on both wall & canvases throughout the festival, curated by GlobalStreet Art. Plus live draw-off 'battles' & displays from international players Cut & Paste and Secret Walls.
Witness the very best in BMX (Kye Forte), inline (Kingdom) & skateboard (Lovenskate) as the nations finest showcase their skills with gravity-defying feats, live demo’s, edgy competitions and interactive workshops. Highlights from the day will include the Game of S.K.A.T.E Finals hosted by Red Bull Flow, a street based skateboarding game of skill. Also Voodoo will be showcasing the alternative urban sport of extreme unicycling.
Enjoy high energy hip hop, b-boy/b-girl battles and raw emerging talent as the rudest dance crews hit the pavements curated by bSupreme with locking and popping champion Yami ‘Rowdy’ Lofvenberg.
The innovative fashion collective that is TogetherTheyCome market will be bringing its very special fashion, arts and food market, so expect to find some one off rare pieces!
Not content with all that? You can also expect Photobooths, a Digital Graffiti Wall, Pop up nail art bar, live t-shirt screen printing, tattooing, amazingstreet food and so much more to be announced over the coming weeks!
