The Noisettes to headline LeeFest 2013

London-based indie duo, The Noisettes have just been announced to headline this year’s LeeFest. The festival, founded by Lee Denny, started as an act of teenage rebellion in Denny’s garden when his parents went away in the summer of 2006. “Before leaving they gave my friends and I one strict instruction: do not have a house party… so we did the logical thing and decided to have a festival in the garden.” – LeeFest
Now, seven years later, LeeFest has transformed into a full-fledged non-profit music festivals in south east London. This year has a wicked line-up including electronic rock band Delphic, The Other Tribe and the eccentric Clean Bandit. LeeFest will run for three days, 12th – 14th July 2013. Lots more names will be added to the line-up soon.
