The Hip Hop Artist of today is Promoe.
Promoe is a Swedish rapper from Västerås Municipality, Sweden. Originally a graffiti artist, Promoe was always oriented with the hip hop culture. However, MCing would be where he would find fame.
Promoe first came to prominence through Myspace, quickly gaining well over a quarter of a million listeners. After this, he soon gained international recognition and began working with big names like the late Big Pun from New York City. From then on, he would continue to produce music eventually creating four full albums.
His music has also become quite popular in BBoy culture, another branch of hip hop, with his sick tune, 'Off The Record.' Other notable songs include 'Long Distance Runner' and 'Purge Dem.'
