Croatia might be the fashionable festival destination abroad, but Sonar Barcelona is still one of the biggest and best parties with guaranteed sun in Europe and a personal favourite of ours. If you want to listen to the best electronic music in the world then this is the spot!
This summer Sonar 2013 returns with as massive a line up as ever. From the 13th to the 15th June 2013 the city of Barcelona will play host to international acts from across the world of dance music: Alunageorge, Bauuer, Bat For Lashes, Darkstar, Eats Everything, Justice, Kraftwerk, Luciano, Major Lazer, Skream, Skrillex, TNGHT and Two Door Cinema Club are just a small sample of the huge acts set to play over the weekend. After 19 years, this "festival of Advanced Music and Multimedia Art" has achieved legendary status as one of the biggest parties in the world. The "by day" festival is this year taking place at the Fira Montjuïc in the Plaça d'Espanya, which means it will only be 8 minutes away from the "by night" location in Fira Gran Via L'Hospitalet. Guaranteed good weather, a city break location and an international line up means this event will once more be a completely unforgettable experience.
