Wedged in the Psyche

Korean singer Psy has decided to alter his next single in case the title offends anyone. The song titled, ‘Assaravia’ in Korean (meaning “to express thrills”) would be translated as ‘Assarabia’ in English, and could offend listeners who misunderstand the joyful intent, rather than just the musical offence that Psy’s music usually causes.
Psy’s previous single, ‘Gangnam Style’, was an internet sensation that led into a cultural phenomenon, with everyone with a camera attempting the signature dance, from Bruce Forsyth to Noam Chomsky. The new single will have a lot to live up to, as ‘Gangnam Style’ currently has the most YouTube views of any video uploaded on the site with a staggering 1.1bn views.
